Fee calculator

• Fees are volume times the average fee, which blends maker and taker by your split. The year is twelve months like the one you enter.
• It doesn't include the perpetual funding rate, which isn't an exchange fee but a payment between traders every few hours while the position stays open.

A maker order adds liquidity: it's a limit order that sits in the book until someone takes it. A taker order removes it: it fills instantly against what's already there, like a market order. Makers usually pay less.

Because the exchange charges on every fill. Opening a 1,000 USDT position and closing it are two fills of 1,000, so 2,000 USDT of trading volume, and you pay a fee on both.

Yes, even if it doesn't look like it: the fee is charged on the position size, not on your margin. With 100 USDT at 10x you open 1,000 USDT, and you pay the fee on 1,000.

By entering with limit orders instead of market orders when you can wait for the price, and by trading less often. With the same win rate, lower fees mean more profit.
