Bitunix vs BingX: a comparison for trading futures
By the NexoTrade team · Checked on October 18, 2026
On futures they charge the same as maker, and BingX charges a bit less as taker. Bitunix allows more leverage; BingX also has spot copy trading and says which company operates it. Neither is registered in Argentina, and in the European Union neither opens an authorized account for you with the code.
Depending on how you trade
- If you trade at market: BingX charges 0.05 % as taker on futures and Bitunix 0.06 %.
- If you want more leverage: Bitunix allows up to 200x on BTCUSDT and BingX up to 150x. Above 20x, a small price move liquidates you on both.
- If you do copy trading: both have it for futures; BingX also lets you copy on spot.
- If you trade spot with limit orders: Bitunix charges 0.08 % as maker and BingX 0.1 %.
- If you want to know who’s behind them: BingX names the company that operates it in its terms, although it doesn’t say which country it’s from. Bitunix doesn’t name any.
- If you’re worried about the security of your funds: both publish their proof of reserves every month. BingX suffered a theft on September 20, 2024, without giving the amount, which it says it covered with its reserves.
- If you live in the European Union or Argentina: with the code, neither of them opens a MiCA-authorized account for you, and neither is registered as a PSAV. BingX’s subsidiary BingX EU is authorized, but without futures or Spain, and BingX hasn’t said when it opens. Belgium’s FSMA has a warning about BingX, and France’s AMF another about Bitunix.

The buttons are in alphabetical order. With the code, neither of them opens an account for you that’s authorized under MiCA: if you live in the European Union, you use them at your own risk.
Fees, with the same example
Opening and closing a 10,000 USDT position at market on BTCUSDT costs about 10 USDT on BingX and 12 USDT on Bitunix, not counting funding. With a VIP level, the fee goes down, and each has its own conditions.
Futures and copy trading
Both have USDT perpetuals. BingX allows up to 150x on BTCUSDT and Bitunix up to 200x, but that changes nothing if you trade sensibly: more than 20x is very risky. Cross or isolated margin
Copy trading: BingX, for futures and spot; Bitunix, for futures. What a trader made before says nothing about what you’ll make, and their losses get copied too.
