Bitunix: reviews, fees and security
By the NexoTrade team · Checked on October 18, 2026
Bitunix is a good fit if you trade USDT futures and want low fees and copy trading. It isn’t for you if you want an exchange supervised in your country: it isn’t authorized under MiCA, so if you live in the European Union you use it at your own risk.

Fees
On futures, without a VIP level, Bitunix charges 0.02 % to those who place a limit order (maker) and 0.06 % to those who trade at market (taker). On spot, 0.08 % and 0.1 %.
An example on BTCUSDT: opening and closing a 10,000 USDT position at market (for example, 1,000 USDT of margin at 10x) costs about 12 USDT in fees. Funding is paid or received separately, every few hours.
Futures and copy trading
USDT perpetuals with up to 200x leverage on BTCUSDT. Being able to doesn’t mean you should: above 20x, a small price move liquidates you. Cross or isolated margin
It has copy trading for futures: you copy another trader’s trades with part of your balance. What that trader made before says nothing about what you’ll make, and their losses get copied too.
Security
- Proof of reserves: BTC 156 % · ETH 108 % · USDT 105 %, no total ratio (October 1, 2026). It says how much it holds against what it owes its customers in those assets, not whether the exchange is solvent in everything else.
- Identity verification: its own help center contradicts itself on what you can do without it. Expect to have to verify to withdraw.
- Its website doesn’t say which company operates it or where. If something goes wrong, you wouldn’t know who to complain to.

How we make this profile
The data comes from Bitunix’s official website, its help center and public registers (ESMA in the European Union, the CNV in Argentina), with the date of each check. We don’t give ratings: we don’t have a published method for scoring exchanges. It’s written by the NexoTrade team.
